MG4 New fault: Drivers door unlock button.

My passenger door has the same issue, started in the very cold weather.
Will get it checked etc when it goes in for the recall.

Same here, booked in next week to have it checked alongside the wind noise coming from the back

Sounds like the actuator (the plunger behind the button) is sometimes sticking in and not returning to the out position after unlocking.

Don’t know if it’s the same fault but both of mine failed last year. I found that the buttons both froze and took a lot of effort to push and sometime afterwards both had to be replaced and this year i lightly press the button and if it feels solid I use the key fob and have had no trouble since.

Similar story for me with driver's door button on MG4 Trophy MY22. Button seems to be stuck-in. Problem arose before frosty season. Toyed with spraying with WD40 or silicone but decided to leave for MG to sort under warranty.
My MG ZS EV Mk1 also has a door lock problem - one rear door is permanently locked. Took to dealer today who confirmed the symptom and ordered replacement lock under warranty. Dealer said they would have to break in to access door interior

My drivers side door button is doing the same, passenger door one works fine. I’ll have to get it fixed when my replacement infotainment screen arrives to replace the faulty one, and to also fix the tyre pressure alert errors.
