MG4 Not fully charging

It will be built into the plug end of the Zappi charging cable if it is permanent fixed connection.
If the Zappi allows you to use your own cable , it will be in that , again at the end which connects to the car.

Best approach is to check for longer periods:

1. Will it take >50% charge increase on another AC charger?

2. Will it take >50% charge increase on granny charger?

3. Will it take >50% charge increase on Rapid DC charger?

If (1) and (2) fail and (3) works, you probably have a CCU failure (which happened to me) or other fault in the charging system. If it works on other AC chargers then it is probably your Zappi at fault.

The CCU fault develops over a few weeks, it starts as an occasional failure to charge fully on AC, then it happens more and more often until it won't even charge for 10 minutes without stopping.
i tried the granny charger and it went from 37 to 55% then stopped ,, for hours , it does charge fine on a tesla dc charger , Garage said they couldnt find fault with the car but given the granny charger wont work and my home 7kw and external pay 7kw charger all wont work , surely the fault must be with the car ? .. getting a bit fed up with an electric car that wont charge !!

all advice appreciated

I am sure this is not the case, but when you charge is the scheduled charge set as the default?
55 - 37 is 18% *0.5 gives 9kw , granny at 1.7 kwph gives 5 1/2 hrs. Round about what a scheduled charge setting may be. Plugging in the 7kw EVSEs the car might be waiting for the start time.
Must say though ,it does sound like a CCU fault. But best to check every option.

Does sound like the CCU fault. It should get worse and therefore be easier for the garage to detect. They probably just threw it on charge for a few minutes, which isn't a good enough test.

You may need to wait until it fails to charge at all on AC and then take it back to the garage to have them retest it. Mine was tested when it failed to charge at all. Failing that, or if it doesn't rapidly get worse, you'll need to explain the problem to the garage again and get them to test it on their charger overnight to trap the problem occurring.
