So I just give them 'evidence'...
They never asked me. I just had to inform them digitally what went wrong.
But for LKA and ACC I have video footage.

Correct, take footage and that's it. I was referring to the internal workings of an MG authrized shop.
If they refuse a warranty claim to you I'd still ask for their internal service now ticket number

Well only i can say, i can't buy vci/vdi device to my country and also even can not pay for sips via payment method.

Only i want that acc speed change 1 by 1 and even i can't do that That's not fair.

I have to wait someone make or discover usb update for different modules i suppose

I’m afraid there’s simply no way to update the other modules directly via USB.

Some stuffs are quite hard to document or reproduce. Expecially if those happens seldomly.

I'm back from an under warranty check on my Luxury64 my24.
My car had those issues:

-at first start any day ISA lock on 50km/h value. If you turn car off and on the issue disappear and you can turn it on and off how many time without the glitch. Untill the next day, when at start ISA self lock on 50km/h limit. Checked twice not solved.

-during night driving ISA and auto lights self disabled. Happened 3 times. 2 times during an hard turn on a dark wood, one time in a straight well lighted street. Apparently solved.

-anti collision self turning of in the dark with moderate rain. Happened twice on a straight well lighted street, with a veichle in close proximity in front of me at very low speed. Apparently solved.

-with TJA active, on motorway, in a start and stop situation, the car reversed after bracking. Apparently solved.

-condense building up into the top part of tail-lights. Apparently is normal with severe temperature changes, from cold to hot.

I got asked photos only for tail-lights.
Apparently there where available lots of modules updates for MY24 (not infotaiment). They took 2 days to install and check anything.

I'm going the guess the HVAC controls - the temperature range has changed so that 22C is the approx. middle of the range rather than 25C. (i.e. same as 1100R38 for the SE).

Heating is much improved with R63 though we never had much issue with the old software.
HVAC appears straight away when car is ready too.

Does it fix the wrong-side-controls problem on CarPlay? (where the display sometimes things the car is RHD and sometimes LHD, moving the command strip to the wrong side).

Does it fix CarPlay not working if you don't wait for the system to start up before connecting the phone?

I already gather it can't fix the inability to pull down on the AC controls from CarPlay/AA view.

These are the most annoying bugs for me at the moment.

Not played with carplay since its been updated but the phone plays music as soon as the car is ready and phone plugged in.

Minor point that I've mentioned previously so sorry if I'm repeating stuff already known but a handy workaround for the unable to swipe AC controls in carplay is to double tap (switch off and on) the fans and it brings the panel up over Carplay and returns to carplay when you dismiss it.

I know it's not a fix though, just mentioning in case it improves someones day

I have the luxury version, and just spoken directly with the importer of MG in norway. The newest version here is R63, however they just released it, so not all dealers have it yet.

I’ve got R63 now and the pull down from AA has been working well.

I like now that you also get Temperature info above the CarPlay Mirroring !

Do you have both Android and Apple phones in use in your car? If not then those 2 statements are mutually exclusive. (In 1100R38 for the SE there is no pulldown menu when AA/CarPlay is active on the screen. I'd be surprised if 1300R63 was different).

If they wanted I could look for all 4 files, about 75MB each, as I haven't looked into them yet I couldn't say if the file gives more info like SNAKP21E32 or SRAP027E4Y etc

Never loaded one but would expect that you just extract it to the root of the drive

I’d strongly recommend exercising great caution before attempting to install these files, particularly if you are unsure whether the original version for your car is included in case you need to revert.

(And take a look a few pages earlier in this thread—I’m a bit of a daredevil when it comes to testing firmware.)


You may want to look in \META-INF\userdata\mulpart.conf

Hello everyone!
I have a mg4 51 kWh and I updated from R13 to R38. I really liked the new interface etc. but ACC was following the vehicle in front of me closely, even though the adjustable distance was at max. It seemed like this was better in R13. Can I update again to R33 or lower? Of course, whichever one satisfies me with the following distance.

Also, the energy consumption was not working in R38. This situation is also sad.
