@siteguru Why don't you install R45? I'm just curious why you're still on R38.

I haven't placed my Amazon order yet, the one which includes the USB stick for doing this.

I also don't have the VNCI/VDI/Whatever dongle and SIPS - not sure if that will matter. I guess it means the TBox won't be updated by USB only?

@siteguru You have a Standard MY22, too. So you can update FICM MCU + MPU via USB and TBox via USB. You need one VNCI interface and SIPS for the rest.

As i understand from the guide you must have also do MCU with SIPS

Thanks - TBox update needs SIPS to fully update, so I think I'll leave mine alone as I'm not noticing any issues with it.

I had to update my TBOX (MPU + MCU) because Keyless Start from app was not working(had SNAKP18E32 and updated to 23E32)
As a recap:
FICM for SWI69 is done entirely from USB(MPU and MCU)
FICM for SWI68, starting with R63 is two part: MPU via USB and MCU via SIPS
TBOX for both SWI68 and SWI69 is done in two part: MPU via USB and MCU via SIPS
