MG4 Software Update Thread

Hello everybody from Germany!

Is there someone who knows how to get the FICM updated in a MY24 (!!) MG4?
The newest Version should be SWI133-29176-1300R41:

On my car it is SWI133-29176-1300R30


SIPS is completly done to the newest Versions by my own Interface... but it looks like no one can help with updating the FICM, what maybee has to be done with a USB-Stick and the right files... but how to get them and what is the right handling then?

I hope, that more international users will gave more Input for that

R36 for SWI133 is available on @haloweenhamster's Google drive. (Find any of his posts and check his signature).

I have it... and a other german User still wrote that it will not work. Maybee the handling is not clear - or there is something missing?

Is there someone who made that on MY24 and can tell us, how to do it?

It should be done via sips but I don't know how as I've only worked on pre my24

When you load sips on the first page it should show you your car configuration, look for EH32-X

Mine is a X8, if yours is X10 or above MG state only update via sips and don't attempt usb update

I assume Armin‘s MG4 MY24 is also an EH32-X9, like ours.

So we‘re in between X8 and X10…. and this seems to be something like ‘The Twilight Zone‘.

The routine for X8 doesn‘t work and via SIPS there‘s no option visible that could indicate an update of the FICM including the Android part of the system.
