MG4 Spotted! : Was it you?

Funny you should say that, finding Deeside-registered NHS lease cars.

Being an utter demic, I've been in contact with a great many health professionals over my life, but particularly the last 20 years.

In the last 2 (since busting my ankle), I've met three who have got NHS lease MG4s and all those cars were registered in Scotland!

No, I have more respect for my paintwork than to take Caliban into that tiny, restricted triangle. Anyway, since I live just over half a mile away, I'd cycle there, not drive. (On one slightly unfortunate occasion I had to walk home wheeling the bike.) And my registration starts SL.

All day Saturday I was at a renaissance music workshop in the Broughton district of Edinburgh, so the car wasn't even in the village - not till we got back at five, anyway.

You might occasionally see Caliban parked across the road at Manor Garage though, if any work is being done on him.

Fair do's - just that it was same year and colour... and it's a small village! You're right about that car park!

As it goes, while you were in Broughton i was just down the road in Comely Bank!

I've seen a blue MG4 in the village a couple of times this year. Once I met a Trophy coming the other way in Main Street (waves were exchanged) and once when I was waiting to cross the A702 beside the Gordon Arms to go into the Manor Garage forecourt one passed me on the main road heading south.

I don't know of anyone in the village with one though. The only other MG4 I know about is a green X-Power belonging to a close neighbour.

We keep seeing a 23 plate red Trophy, Manchester/ Merseyside registered, but not MC like ours and not a Mangoletsi car. We see it parked on the street round the corner to ours, but they are only visitors. We see them driving about too and exchange waves.

There was another smurf parked in the short-term at Heathrow T2 yesterday. Plenty on the M40 - a smurf behind me on the Oxford/Banbury stretch and overtook a tango trophy and a white SE on the southbound, in convoy.
