Silly question but how does one get a black badge? Is it only available as a factory built option or is it an after sale change?

They are after market and stick on top of your existing badge. I bought this for my XPower but I can't use the rear badge, it's under plastic. I think the fronts are all the same but not 100% so someone maybe able to confirm.

Wednesday 2nd October, black Trophy on the M74 heading south-east round about the Bothwell area, about 5.30. I overtook the car and tried waving, but no response that I saw.

It's an aftermarket item from AliExpress, or at least, mine was ?. It is basically a cover over the existing chrome badge.

I spotted a Blue MG4 just after lunch this afternoon heading along the Coupar Angus Road just past Piperdam. Unfortunately I was distracted with trying to turn LKA off and didn't let off a flash and a wave... which sounds like how a certain Royal allegedly greets young persons.

Seen a Black Trophy 23 reg, this morning. Fully kitted. Aftermarket alloys. Wind deflecters. Roof bars. Did look nice. They looked at me and I looked at them. But no wave or thumbs up. Was tempted but you feel daft, if they don't acknowledge you back. Sorry no pics, was driving.

I was disproportionately pleased to meet my car's doppelganger in Silver Sands car park in Aberdour today. It can be seen spectrally haunting the shadows. I know what you are thinking but this wasn't pre-oranged.

On closer inspection is it an Xpower? I note the different wheel trims and what looks like a black roof.

The car in the background has the same wheel trim the SE gets in Australia, but I don’t know if they also get the black roofs? Your wheel trim is what you get on Trophy specs here.

The Xpower I think gets alloys, not wheel trim? Again that may be different Downunder.
