It was raining, I'd already driven 340 miles with 110 still to go. I'd lost nearly half an hour by walking away from the charger without realising the charge hadn't initiated, and I'd just got it going. No way was I going to unplug Caliban again to get a photo. And besides, my lasange was getting cold.

I had only taken a couple of bites when I realised the car wasn't charging. I ran back to the charger in the rain to get the charge started, and that's when I took the picture. At least someone had put a cover over my plate and my meal wasn't cold when I got back.

Spotted a fellow ginger going the opposite way in Brighton today and got a nice wave

Doing a bit of mirror, indicate, manouvre to turn right on the A229 and the car behind was another Tango!

Spotted a red MG4 with black roof, PK72 reg just after the Shell station roundabout on the A75 Dumfries. He waved first and I flashed my headlights in reply. I think that's the first time someone has signalled recognition first to me.

Quick jet wash at Tesco today. Black MG4 Trophy being washed before mine. Have to to say it looked great. Personally would never have a Black car. But this did look bloody good.

Spotted a fellow ginger going the opposite way in Brighton today and got a nice wave

I regularly see a Blue MG4 SE going the other way early morning when I am on my way to golf in my Trophy, and often several others on the route, plus an Orange Xpower belonging to the chef at a local pub, not to mention at least 4 5's running round the Island as taxis.

I have never seen one yet!

Mind you, I haven't been to the IoW yet, either!

Sainsbury/Argos Newcastle-under-Lyme on Sunday morning 07/12/2025. I spotted the one in the disabled bay when I went in the store. Then couldn't believe there was another one as I was leaving the car park ! There was an empty space by it so took the opportunity to park up alongside to get a photo.
