MG4 Spotted! : Was it you?

Yes, I volunteered to assist on a school trip one of my children went on about 20 years ago.

Wow. We have been living nearby since 1999, but I have been in Stockport or Manchester most of my life.

The council have renovated the interior since you visited.

In the Solar, they discovered a painted "tapestry" under some wall coverings and they renovated the pendant plaster ceiling in the Drawing Room.

I can't find my pictures of those rooms and don't want to post any copyright pictures here, but if you search, you'll find some on tinterweb.

Trophy smurf on M5N near Frankley this morning and yesterday smurf coming towards me near Worle, Weston Super mare.

I think I have p*ssed Mrs S off bigly by constantly pointing out every MG4 I see. I think I've finally exhausted her patience...

"I don't care how many bleedin' cars you see and what s*dding colour they are, keep it to yourself!"

I hope the people you discuss such matters with are more forgiving!

My wife suggested we play an endless game of “spotto”. Double points for a fellow tango, she scores quadruple points if she sees me out and about. You lose a point for a false claim though, because she just started calling spotto on every orange car on the horizon haha

In the last couple of days we have watched the old and new versions of the film Rebecca.

In the 2020 remake, they used several Nat Trust properties to represent the house and one of them had a ceiling very like pendant plaster ceiling in the Drawing Room at Bramall Hall.

Spotted a fellow tango in Bali!

Unfortunately it's not like it used to be.
But I guess there aren't many places that are.
I’ve come over to meet up with friends I haven’t see in seven years, so the location didn’t matter to be honest haha, I’ve been once before almost ten years ago, but a different area.

I have to say wherever the “see and be seen” crowd comes together the atmosphere isn’t what I prefer on a holiday, but the locals have been friendly as I remember them to be.

Yes the locals are always great, but it's beauty and natural charm has been to it's detriment.

There still maybe some "undiscovered" spots away from the developers, but they are hard to find.

@Rolfe's holiday hire car, maybe? She's probably testing it out for @MG Clive later this year ;)
No, @Rolfe will be using our IM5 100 Performance, it comes free with the MGEV Staff holiday villa in Bali, I can't wait till it's my turn. 😎

I left Bali over a fortnight ago, on a cruise ship. I didn't see any EVs there, although we mostly stayed in our resort hotel. I saw an MG garage in one of the ports we stopped at, but only ICE MGs. Phuket, I think it was, had rather more EVs and I saw at least one petrol station with DC chargers. But mostly the places we stopped at were deserts of petrol and diesel fumes.

Then there was Singapore, where we left the ship and stayed for a couple of days. Most cars were either EVs or hybrids running on their battery cycles, and the quiet, low-pollution streets were amazing.

I saw a white MG4 near Robertson Quay. Sadly, its near-side rear passenger door was badly bashed.

Currently on a sun bed on a beach in the Maldives, coming home on Sunday. No cars here.
