I have a 2025 MG4 Trophy LR and I am curious as to whether this is UK spec. I was expecting a black roof lining (mine is cream), auto up and down windows all around (only available on drivers door), colour to be Camden Grey (mine says it is Andes Grey in the car menu).

I have also found that the weather app on the infotainment does not work and the infotainment system version is R30 but I cannot find out if this is the latest version or not.

Can anybody help please

The black roof is only on the ER (extended range) now.
All windows should be auto up and down, they may need resetting. For each window, send the window fully down and hold the down button for 5 seconds then send the window fully up and hold the up button for 5 seconds.
Version R30 is old for the Trophy, I think R63 is the latest, my June 2023 had (and still has) R33 from new.

We have tried the reset and my main dealer is saying the windows should not be auto up and down and the latest version is R30. It is not the outsider roof that should be black it is the internal headlining I thought was supposed to be black.

It is known that a small number of EU trims made it into the UK - at least in the early cars anyway. Maybe yours is a "mistake" like them rather than an import.

Are you sure you have the Trophy? Does it have the roof twin air spoilers?

Front and rear electric windows are all one-touch up/down for the Trophy specification and front and rear electric windows with driver's one-touch up/down for the SE.

It hasn't generated a range estimate that I've seen but it does say "-- miles"
My X Power shows dashes instead of a range once the battery gets into single figures. I have no idea how accurate that actually is in the MG. I learned to ignore range when I bought the Tesla, that thing is hopelessly inaccurate. I just go by battery percentage in any EV now, it just feels more consistent.

I think they changed the spec recently so it may be a bit confusing comparing current new spec cars (you say yours is a 2025 model so pretty new) to older spec cars.

Some of the latest May 2025 specs are given in this brochure :-

Do you know when your car was produced? I presume it's a much newer production date than mine which although is only 2 months old on a 25 reg, isn't really as it's birth certificate shows December 2023.

I know this doesn't help, but I would much prefer a cream roof lining as the car is far too dark and drab inside with the black one mine has, compound this with the apparent lack of heat reflective glass and the car's like a greenhouse.

I remember when working for VW that we had a load of passats with odd changes in spec . Colours dropped or added for seemingly no reason ,black instead of chrome trim . Cd multichangers, instead of single play units ( it was a while ago!!) different alloys etc etc . VW always covered itself by saying that specs could change , and that this was written into the brochures.
It seemed to be mostly down to supply issues or the fact that they'd over ordered some stuff and needed to get rid .

I think the main issue here is the cream headlining, there's a logical explanation for everything else.
That's what I was meaning by "EU trim" ... we've seen this before in a few of the early UK spec cars. (UK has never had any internal trim [headlining/seat] colour options)
