I'd be surprised if there weren't any ... there's nothing special with the X-Power in that respect.

I can confirm this with my ER.I'm fairly sure that some ER models have had undertray issues, and the ER came out at the same time as the X-Power. I know for certain that some later SR and LR cars have had the issue, as I've taken a peak under the showroom cars whenever I've been at my dealer. (In fact, I'm pretty sure the showroom X-Power I looked at last November had a warped undertray).
Yes ours had (purchased in March 24 but car built in Aug 23) - asked for the 'bodge' bracket to be fitted at one of our numerous warranty visits - was fitted without argument in SeptemberI may have missed posts with this but has there been any X Powers reported with the saggy under tray?
Did you actually say "bodge bracket" that would be really funny.Yes ours had (purchased in March 24 but car built in Aug 23) - asked for the 'bodge' bracket to be fitted at one of our numerous warranty visits - was fitted without argument in September
Yes - I have a good rapport with the MG master-tech at the dealer - we're on first name terms due to the amount of time I've had to spend there. He instantly knew what I meant by this description!Did you actually say "bodge bracket" that would be really funny.![]()
I would suggest if it bothers you like it does me, that you find the document related to the issue from MG and ask your dealer to fix.My car have this issue two places, yet passes trough every service without ever getting mentioned by the dealer.
Dealers won't do it, unless you ask.My car have this issue two places, yet passes trough every service without ever getting mentioned by the dealer.
Agree.I would suggest if it bothers you like it does me, that you find the document related to the issue from MG and ask your dealer to fix.
I got mine a few weeks ago with very minor bulge. I am going to watch it and if it does not get worse wait until 1st service to address it.Pick up brand new Monday 3 of March and still being sent out with this problem. It just spoils what should be a good experience. It that old problem within the car trade that will do I can’t be bothered.
It’s crazy what you have to go through sometimes. I would also be tempted to look for another dealer for future use even if a little further away.A quick further update, I managed to get MG customer service to contact my Dealership directly and request that the work is done. The dealership has requested sight of the technical notice (which I've already provided, but whatever) and they will raise a "technical case" with MG to confirm the notice's veracity before doing the repair.
They are going to be a bit frustrated by my insistence on this most likely, but I must admit I'm utterly flabbergasted at the hoops I've had to jump through for a fix that takes what, 30 minutes?
Why they think anyone would make up a technical notice is beyond me. It feels like they are trying to make it stressful on purpose.
So, I'm going to call the dealership again.......
We are absolutely going to do that. Unfortunately, they've lost my trust. You'd have thought having just got a few thousand out of me they'd be more attentive. My next nearest is Brighton 25 or so miles away. What a faff. It’s crazy what you have to go through sometimes. I would also be tempted to look for another dealer for future use even if a little further away.
