New Mg4 audio settings

I had the mg4 trophy last year but had to return it due to undisclosed crash damage and a very poor repair. I recently purchased a New Mg4 (Piccadilly blue) but struggling to find settings for the audio system to not make it sound boomy or empty.

What audio settings are you using for your MG4? How are you finding the audio system and any plans to upgrade it?

It's interesting that you've I found this too. There was a boom in the upper bass, no real bass extension, and hollowness in the mid, overall it didnt seem to be good as mine in the Trophy I have. It was compatible to the MG S5 ( probably the same units, as most of the interior is carried over from the MG S5). I thought that the MG 4 urban sounded slightly better.
I could only find settings for EQ and Soundstage, whereas the old one has EQ, Arkamys 3D Sound, and a virtual subwoofer too. In mine (now old model) it actually sounds quite good with Arkamys and vitual subwoofer.
I'm not sure much can be done except playing with the Eq to level out the response.
This criticism has also been levelled at the S6 too, that however has the advantage of a subwoofer in the boot which some are upgrading to active rather than passive.
