So Evie my MG4 is coming g up 3yrs old. Booked for service and MOT next month.
Taken up offer of IM5 test drive on the day.
Should I look to a new extended range MG4 on PCP or lease an IM5 if I like it?

Obviously up to you. But, think the IM5 is on another level. So much better. Keep us informed. 🙂👍

Yes it depends on what type of car you're after, a medium sized family car, or a big saloon, I personally wouldn't want anything bigger than the MG4, but maybe you're ready for a major change @Morg (y)
And it really is big, Bjorn Nylands video showed how big it was in a parking space with the 360 camera. It barely fits 👍

Swapping my MG4 trophy for an IM 5 standard Range .Wasn't planning to change but can't resist it I was looking at a Tesla Model 3 .But decided to stick with MG don't really know why 😂😂

I mean it isn't really a fair comparison, they are completely different vehicles aimed at different markets.

The MG4 is getting a mid-life facelift soon, so I probably wouldn't switch now to another one.

The IM5 is amazing, but it is so much more expensive than the 4.
Not that much more I bought a MG 4 for £32000 in March 2023 now I have bought an IM 5 standard Range for £39893 .

Tough choice.
Two great cars with very different qualities. I test drove an MG4 but actually oprdered an IM5 (taking delivery on 29th December). The '4' is such a good car and I quite see the way the media love it. Great to drive and very smooth but the IM5 is that little smoother/quieter and, of course, bigger.
If we had the benefit of foresight we might know about residuals so taking the chance with the IMs is something of a lottery but whichever you choose, is a good choice. Do hold out for a good discount though. Get in before the 31st December - dealers making up their totals to get the benefit of electris car sales.

Looked at the5 ,but it's huge! Don't need a car that big, might want it, but don't need it!! Will wait on end of PCP deal and see if face-lift 4 is available.

Residuals will take a big hit judging by some of the massive amounts off pre reg and ex demo cars
