Yeah, cages being well and truly rattled too by apparent delays over and above what we were originally told to expect. Perhaps I'm being too......... och I don't know, frustrated? These days of supply delays in all forms of business are kinda hard to take somehow, knowing how it has been - some of the delays in electronics industry are at the point of manufacturers of completed product looking at the market resilience. Is this a new "normal", to use a horrible term.?
Car dealers must be finding themselves in a strange position that most will not have had to cope with before for large chunks of their model range.

Cancelled my order with Toomey so forfeited the £250 deposit but will save that in 2 months of diesel. Hopefully picking up black Exclusive LR this weekend, believe they have one more in stock.

The estimate was the 10th November.

I read some forum posts outside of this site that suggested 10-14 days is common. Although those posts were from 2018 where they were not suffering from the added difficulties of HGV Driver shortages and other Covid/Brexit related difficulties.

The dealer said "Any time between now and the 10th, plus a day or two to get the car ready"

So nothing definitive at all ?

I ordered on the 25th August and have no news as yet!
Dealer told me, when I called about a week ago, that it was due late November or hinted early December.
Hoping to get a call soon to say it's ready but not holding my breath.

Hopefully picking this up at the weekend. Deposit paid yesterday, credit agreed this morning. Dealer rushing through registration and in to workshop for checks.

Yeah, I picked it up Thursday last week. Bear in mine, I am in Bristol which is where the ship landed, so it would stand to reason that I would be amongst the first from that shipment.

I got notified it was at the docks on the 1st November and it took to the 11th for me to be able to pick it up.

Did you buy from Bristol North? I spoke to them initially but ended up going with Willcox in Wickwar, South Gloucs as my dad knows the dealer there- and it turns out he knows some of my neighbours in the village we live in near Wells!!

Yeah Bristol North. In good traffic it's about 30 mins from where I am.

Placed my order couple weekends ago, with an expected date of late Nov, Dec. Spoke last week and he felt Jan was seemingly more likely... I've indicated that I'm not actually that bothered by paint colour, just LR Exclusive model.

Does anyone have any ideas on when the next shipment might hit the shores?

I really got the same sense through the process. I have heard so many conflicting comments from what people are told by their dealers. None of it makes sense. The only good thing is that you will get your car in the end..... If you have the patience to wait.
