OBDii scanner recommendations for MG4 EV

Does anyone have any experience with which OBDii scanner (or similar diagnostic scanner) will work well on an MG4 EV? I have seen the OBDLinkCX recommended but I don't know if this is a different sort of thing. Any suggestions very welcome!

I bought this one and it works great with the Car Scanner app.

The Nexas Nexlink works fine on my MGS5 (and my old MG5).

As an FYI - I purchased the Vgate iCar Pro Bluetooth model Amazon which worked perfectly on my Ioniq and was very quick at reading all the data many times per second, working perfectly.

I am unsure if it's the scanner dongle, the app (car scanner iOS) or just the MG just having a poor interface, however the data is very slow to update for the MG4, and many of the values are dud / incorrect.

It is actually a gift for someone who said they wanted one, hence I don't really know what I'm talking about. They want it broadly for the sake of interest I think, so something that gives them as much information as possible really. Thank you, I'll have a look at that one!
