MG HS PHEV
Hello
Any one who has a HS PHEV is it worth going over to Octopus go. I have a set up that can turn on the granny charger at 12.30am to start charging the car.no point installing a wall box.

Just moved from Octopus Flex to Go.
Rate has changed from 13p/kWh to 9p/kWh, which is fine for the dishwasher, washing machine but the four hour window only gives about 20 miles of charge.
For me that is fine for my normal usage and I just leave it plugged in for another night for a full charge.

I have moved over and plenty of time to recharge the 12 a day I use so just wait on the 1st bill to see if there is saving.

When my HS PHEV is showing at 0 % with 0 EV miles left I can put enough charge in to top up to 31 miles in the 4-hour Go cheap rate. I understand that the car keep’s around 3kwh in reserve so you can only put in upto around 13.6kwh (max battery capacity is 16.6kwh) in any charging session. Just checked my last charging session and the charger put 13.2kwh in the 4 hour slot to go from 0 miles to 31.
