I’ve chosen Eon Drive having been with OVO.
Not going particularly well. They are having trouble communicating with my smart meter for the switch to their variable standard tariff and have then stated it will be a further two weeks to be switched again to their EV tariff once they get it working.
And they are not accepting my manual meter readings nor are telling me how I can claim the £75 credit they are offering for switching to them with an Ohme charger. Not impressed so far.

Reminded me to update this thread. Switch to Eon now complete and on the Next Drive tariff. So took around a week in total and not two. Have to give credit to Eon after a shaky start. Still not heard about the £75 though. OVO have already paid the credit back on my account with them.

I had the same a couple of weeks ago and moved over to Octopus. I’ve just answered an email from OVO saying how sad they were to see I had left them and what was the reason and how could they get me back ????
I just answered, but had to rewrite it a couple of times to be nice

For what it's worth, I just got my first bill from Octopus and it's 100% accurate.
I kept track of all my charging slots and the bill has charged the cheap rate for each half hour slot where any amount of charging occurred. This is for all household use.
Interestingly, the Ohme picks slots in 15 minute increments so I've had many instances where the Ohme picks say, 10.00 to 10.15 and then 10.30 to 11.00, Octopus charges the cheap rate for 10.00 to 11.00.
Octopus give you an average cost per unit of electricity which for me was 12.2p.
Overall I'm very happy.
