Lovely, 790kilos , c/w spare wheel. Wonder how many are still around?
Oh! yes, and a front splitter 50 years ahead of its time.? ..... artistic licence .

That's what my Dad used to do - as soon as the ball touched the windscreen then that was the signal to stop.Or a strategically placed tennis ball on a string hanging from the ceiling
No that's the cover for the leaf springs, I guess that's what they mean by half elliptic.Oh! yes, and a front splitter 50 years ahead of its time.? ..... artistic license .![]()
I have a thick plank fixed to the floor, when the rear wheels touch it I stop and briefly put it in N so that any tension in the tyres is released.Or a strategically placed tennis ball on a string hanging from the ceiling
Or this? Probably a later model, and electric (converted, and drove around the world). Not quite the same colour, I think.Like this?

Ask the GovernmentNo idea. Maybe enlarging the photo (or I may have another one) would give the date of the car.
ETA: no, can't see anything in the other pic either. I wouldn't have thought it was as recent as 1989 though.
