Post your MG ZS EV battery SOH data please

My SOH seems to be dropping quickly. It's had one DC fast charge (early on in life) and one 11kW AC charge (for about 30% battery topup) yet, at 6000 km, it's showing 98.23%
2022 facelift standard range, measured with the eZS app.

We commute in the car mostly, charge up to 100% every few days (lowest is 30%)
accumulated journey is at or below 15 kWh/ 100km

5,576km 98.32%
5,741km 98.29%
6,007km 98.23%

Is this something to be worried about?

I wouldn't say it's anything to worry about all the LFP batterys look like there on a timer

Wow that’s impressive N2STY, almost 7k miles and still retained 100% SOH😯
I think it's pretty standard for the long range batteries
I'm not particularly looking after it I charge to 90% pretty much every day apart from occasional balance charge

Just done a 100% full charge & balance with trips reset showing 153 miles on normal (3) mode, Min to Max cell volts back to 4.2 Min 4.22 MaX.

Looking at the figures, I am going to predict you are running on the factory software ( pre BMS update ) and if so, those figures look about spot on !.
Low mileage user case of course at 3404 miles covered on the Oddo.

Here's me again

Useless stats because I am not at full charge so to can't see the cell spread. However it's not even got better than 19mV since BMSgate. Last balance showed 448.5V total

OVMS# metrics list odo
v.p.odometer 52903km

OVMS# metrics list soh
v.b.soh 90.78%

It's had two rapids in the last week but none before that since last year.

Yes correct, Still on the original factory software from new (2020) The MG dealership never did any updates on any of the two services it's had.
I'm not really concerned as it runs great with no problems at all.

My SOH & mileage are almost identical to yours,
3404 miles 98.42%

Longevity may be affected as they pushed it originally to around 4.5V per cell and that's the top-end of what's acceptable. Lowering the voltage helped I think reduce the likelihood of warranty claims, and also the BMS SoH was jigged. Or the top end changes effectively shows lower figures on the newer BMS.

It been a while since a last posted. The car will be 3 years old next month with 46000km on the odometer (or 26500 miles)

Since then the battery degrated 3,7%. I’m geussing that is acceptible and to be expected.

I'm currently sitting at around 28k miles, and 93½%, but what I have noticed over the last wee while is occasional blips in battery health, where the % value has actually gone up slightly.

Has anyone else noticed anything similar?

Will the SOH be slightly different if the battery has been balanced / not balanced recently ?.
Would this account for the small discrepancy in the SOH reports 🤷.

Hi all,

Was forgetting ! my first under-100% SOHwas may-20, near 27500 km.

If i remember well, in eZS app cell reports, one of cells voltage was a little under the others.

No major modifications in my charging habits.
Will see again in some months to evaluate more deeply degradation.

Just done my monthly...ish full charge & balance & the SOH has crept down slightly from last time 98.42% to 97.29%.
3550 miles
January 2021
158 miles trips reset (N) mode

I noticed that nobody seemed to be updating the spreadsheet anymore so thought I would do it. Here are the graphs for the Gen1 ZS:

For this one I tried to account for the fact that it is both time and miles that cause the degradation. For this I added the 1000's of miles to the time in months multiplied by 0.55 (as this maximised the R squared value):

And this is how the vs Time graph compares with my 2014 24kWh LEAF that I sold with ~60k Miles:

I'll try to keep the spreadsheet updated using posts on here. Please include whether it is Gen1 or Gen2 SR or LR. SOH, age in months and odometer.

Thanks, I'm rarely on here nowadays to update the spreadsheet.
