Keep going into the dab setting to get channel on radioWhat do you mean by keep setting the radio?
What actions are you doing?
I did something similar when I added my copies of the BBC LOTR and Hitchhikers Guide to my iTunes library to get it to play the episodes in sequence. My USB stick has a copy of the iTunes on it, the annoying thing is it worked fine in my MX5, including voice control. I will have a go at renaming some of the folders to see if I can get it working a bit better. It does lead to some strange juxtapositions with Allegri following Led Zeppelin.I realise it's a royal pain, but the SE's USB player doesn't support folders and plays every track you have in strict alphabetical order irrespective of abum. Another bug. Anyway, here's how I imported and renamed CD tracks to get roung this. As I say, it's a pain, but this is the full fat version, you can skip some steps. Essentially you have to put some code at the beginning of every track name (not file name!) to ensure the car sees them in the right order.
Missing your in-car CD player?
I’m not sure how many people will be interested in this, but since I figured it out (and then wrote down what I had done in case I forgot it), I thought I might as well share it. It’s probably mostly of relevance to classical music fans. Obviously the MG4 doesn’t have an in-car CD player...www.mgevs.com
It didn't take me that long to do once I'd got the hang of it and I now have a USB C stick that will play the whole of Wagner's Ring, fourteen and a half hours, 191 tracks, in the right order right through. (not to mention other long works).
It's worth doing because once you've done it it's done for good and while you can always add more music, what you have is there forever. It's not like cleaning a car when you have to start all over again next week, so cool the mockery, lads.
In my SE SR the DAB radio starts by default. But I'm not sure what should be the default outcome.
