Replacing rear brake discs and pads MG HS

Looking to replace the rear discs & pads on an MG Hs 2022. I wonder if anyone would be able to provide a ‘blow by blow’ way to undertake the job?

There is a full service manual you can download for a small fee from MG; also, quite a few threads about brakes replacement, likely to find some info there.

But, aren't you looking for HS info? This is ZS part of the forum.

Anyone solve the issue with change rear brakes

Used laptop to run motors back,which put it into maintenance mode

Can’t get it out of maintenance mode now( no park brake)

Been told it’s fried the epb module on????

This has happened on some ZS EV models as well !.
Replacing the module was the fix I believe

Hs doesn’t have a seperate epb module ,like the zs.just found out it’s the module that’s part of the abs pump

£850 + vat

Then labour
Coding etc

Could be over £1500 bill

Yip without a computer

All sorted done

Panic stages though ,but done.
getting it out of maintenance mode (software reset via the abs module ).then tell motor you’ve replaced actuators .so they configure.then that’s them sorted

Loads of different ways to do them

£590 from Arnold Clark

£160 parts of eBay and better quality,labour free lol ,took me an hour 15 mins
