Good morning folks,
I’ve just about decided to get probably a 2022 mg5.
But now I’ve seen posts about rust in body panels.
Is the general feeling this is affecting all mg5’s more than other cars. Or is it just a few poorly finished cars that are giving the others a bad reputation?
I currently drive a 2010 mondeo with 190,000miles on the clock. No sign of rust apart from surface rust on suspension .
I would expect all modern cars to be the same. A replacement car needs to last 4-5 years and cover 150,000 miles.
Am I expecting too much?
I know mg5s have covered high mileage from new but what about longevity of one that’s already 4 years old?
Thanks for you thoughts on this
