It's nothing to do with a problem making any software enhancements, that would be very easy to do. It's all to do with marketing and sales. If a manufacturer kept enhancing products that are already sold and in the market with features on newer models, it would severly impact new sales. Sure, a few would throw their toys out of the pram and claim they would never 'buy' an MG again but the majority will simply upgrade when they feel they need to. Manufacturers won't care about the minority as it won't have any impact their revenue in any meaningful way. Same with ALL manufacturers.I very much doubt it. It's like getting features that are on a Windows 11 computer to run in XP and visa versa. They are both the same base but the software has evolved.
