Service in the West Midlands area

Hello,

Brief intro. I'm Owner since June 2020 and loving my car! It is a demonstrator registered March 2020, but only had 1500 miles on the clock, the top model with cosmetic shiny addons.

Looking for recommendation for a service plan. I'm in the West Midlands.

I used the MG online portal to get a couple of quotes and I thought I might get a better deal on a 3 or 5 year plan by arranging directly with a dealer. So I emailed 2 dealers over a week ago and had no responses - realise we've been in lockdown so maybe I need to be more patient!

Meanwhile, thought I'd try the forum for any recommendations?

Thanks Chris. I may go further afield to get the best deal which is as much about customer service as it is about cost.

Do they do anything at Longbridge? Maybe you could try negotiating over the phone if they offer servicing there.

That's where I got the car from and it's one of the 2 that I emailed. TBH, having placed an order for wheel locking nuts from them and never getting the promised call back, and now still no response about a 5 year service plan that stated "I'm ready to purchase", I'm kind of thinking their after sales isn't the best.

The other dealer provided a dedicated email address for their service dept. I'm surprised they haven't responed yet, but they may do.

Currently, due to career commitments, phoning isn't easy for me in the day so I email at night or early morning.

I can try further afield. Not really a big issue yet.
