Stupid car only charges when it feel like it

Has anyone noticed their mg4 doesn’t always start the scheduled charge since the last app update? Mine should have charged last night but didn’t- checked app and it still shows it is set to schedule an overnight charge.
I’ve also noticed that sometimes after I have checked the app the car starts charging immediately rather than waiting for the scheduled start time (very annoying when it charges during peak energy cost hours)

Yes, the last couple of scheduled charges (scheduled in the car) have failed to start on time. If I open the app after the charge should have started oit seems to wake the car up as it then starts charging without me doing anything in the app. I've also noticed that the app often resets to 100% charge when I've set it to 80% in the car. This has only been happening since the app update.
