Sorry that’s what I meantTwo seconds on autotrader shows plenty of MG4 SE, brand new, in stock and with varying discounts.
The opportunity is over now that supply has caught up with demand and there is no waiting list

And when I'm buying a car I obviously do the research. But I'm not going to do more than a few quick Googles for the sake of a discussion. As for carwow and the like, for accurate results they demand your personal information.Enlighten yourself, as anyone spending tens of thousands on a car should.
Surely….surely in this day and age you’re in the minority in only looking at RRP and not researching actual real world deals.
Even for those who are ‘hard of google’ there are companies like carwow will do it for you.
At the end of the day, the only thing that matters are the deals that you have in front of you. Others may say a better deal exists somewhere else but unless you can get the same, it is irrelevant. And when I'm buying a car I obviously do the research. Surely... surely you'd already know the information since you're the one stating it.
I've seen multiple posts recently arguing that the 4 is no longer competitively priced. But I haven't seen anything to back that up (aside from Leni16s post - thank you Leni). Useful to know whether there's any substance behind the posts.

I would recommend carwow as a starting point for anyone looking to purchase. You can get lease, pcp and cash quotes. All you need is an email and password to set up an account.
It amazes me how little research some people do before spending what is a considerable amount of money.
Use Autotrader, ring a few dealers, go on comparison sites, look at pcp options etc etc - save some money!
Same exact figures for a trophy and a V2 born, £4000 deposit, 10000 miles a year, about £20 ish a month difference on PCP. That's before any potential discount on the Born.
I bought outright in cash.
So 29200 for a SE LR was clearly £7k cheaper than an ID3 or Born. and those are BASE MODELS
Not everyone has a PCP.
Much of what was offered for 3k more on the Trophy is froth and software based complications.
But you could have got a Trophy for £794.00 more?I bought outright in cash.

It's not like for like a basic MGLR is no where even close to comparable to a Born V2 which I was comparing to a trophyI bought outright in cash.
