Unable to alter charge %

Just had a software update and all seemed good until I tried to change the charge rate from 80% to 100% . The slide refuses to move, all advise would be welcome.

Is this on the App or in the car?

Is this the AC charge rate or is the battery capacity limiter?

Is this an SE model? (as you can only change it on the Trophy model & above)

What software revision is the car now on?

If it's 1300R63 or R67 then it sounds like the dealer has applied the update via USB, but has forgotten to connect the car to the laptop and run SIPS to update a configuration file. That is (almost certainly) why the slider no longer works.

Just had a phone call from Sandicliffes car is ready for pick up. Lone car is an MGs5 quite nice could be tempted? Thanks again for the help printed the info and showed the sheepish TEC guy regards Dave

Had the same on tuesday this week , mine went in for a service and LKA recall , phoned up the dealer after returning home , took it back and fixed in 15mins , apparently if the technician doesn't flash infotainment screen at the end of the upgrade this happens .... thanks to Perrys MG preston for a quick response

Mine has recently been updated also to R67 and the slider is blacked out.

Does anyone know if this is the only gremlin if not done properly?
I can live with this issue for now but if there are more possible gremlins i would be keener to get it corrected.

Everything working fine but the wife fell fowl to the charms of the salesman and we take delivery of a MGS5 se long range on the 10th of December. The deal was just too good to refused.

Congrats I love mine comfortable nice to drive and economical. What colour did you go for

Piccadilly blue, it’s SE LR as I couldn’t get the same discount on a Trophy but it still felt better than our 4 sit in and to drive. What’s more important is the wife prefers it and the 8,500 discount and paint protection at 1/2 price sweetened the deal. Delivery will be December 10th
