Were is the 360 button on the 2023 FL MG5 Trophy?

Below is a direct quote from the MG5 Trophy (2023, facelift) manual. It mentions you can invoke the 360 view by using a button. But I`ve looked on the car and cannot see any such 360 button. I have a fiddly drive and invoking 360 view whilst crawling forward to park would be very useful.

Any ideas??


The 360 around view system can be enabled using the following methods:

• Selecting Reverse gear.
• Operating the 360 button.

Using the 'Setting' interface to select low speed switching of corner lights/indicators, this will automatically open the 360 around view system when the indicators are used at low speeds and exit when the indicators are cancelled.

It’s not a dedicated button (bad translation), IIRC, once the reversing camera is activated you can select different a camera angles, 360 view is one of the options?

I specifically want to invoke 360 whilst driving forwards (at very low parking speed)

Don't think so.... you must be talking about the PFL Trophy. I have a Facelift 2023 model.

I think I've got the models confused . On my facelift ZS Trophy there's deffo a button for it . Maybe the 5 is different? Why ?

Yes you do i have MG5 74 plate trophy and its just like that.

Yes, I understood, but you need to put the car into R first (to get the camera screen displayed), tab on 3D (to activate 360 degree view) and then drive forward…

Think you got the long range version rather than the trophy one. I suggest you speak to the dealer and get it sorted.

I've done this as well - It is great for turning on the 360 but also great for turning it off when you need to check the google maps quickly but the car is showing the cameras.

Thanks for this. Got it sorted yesterday at the dealership.

The monkeys who updated the infotainment system made a right hash of it, and as a consequence, 360 camera, heated seats and smartphone pairing all didnt work. After another software update, they are all working now.
