ive heard there will be a updated X power but MEH .

Not sure the sales are going to improve much unless alot more is offered ..

Needs better range , MG need to offer better service , throwing it out at a cheaper price is still not going to entice more customers i dont think ..

Wireless apple car play revised sportier interior better stock tyres , frankly it needs better chassis design to handle the power..

Changing the screen and adding a few bells to the current X power isnt going to save it ..

As for worthless NO but will significantly lessen the value of the current X powers ..

once the warranty is up on the X power it will be a throw away item !!

On a side note my car displayed the motor error warning again the other day ..

Motor error unable to select reverse gear !!

It sorted itself out and i was fine to move along BUT

This happened after charging AGAIN so im fairly optimistic that it will be back at the dealers again in a few months with a blown High voltage module AGAIN .

I would certainly consider another X Power and the updated one would be very tempting.

I agree and disagree if that makes any sense, the x Power has a party piece and it's a belter.
The revisions look good, could they have went further yes.
As you say better tyres, alloys ambient lighting maybe, bit more expensive extras a pan roof, hud.
All would make it more appealing and yes more range.
If you want more range though buy the extended range, in a lot of the reviews the now class it as the pick of the range, faster than the standard car, handles the same and goes further.

There is no getting away from the fact that the x power appeals to a certain demographic and that's who seems to be buying them, I doubt it's tempting many youngish drivers (under 40's)

I think they’ve done a good job with the facelift (apart from dropping the best colours) and to offer it for an even cheaper RRP is even better once the inevitable deals start getting even more lucrative.

I’d certainly consider another one, even mid term of my current one, if the numbers made sense.
