To be honest, it is a probably a good thing that we can’t access it. Very easy to break the car that way.

It wasn't there last night, so it must have just dropped this morning.

(As per usual - check in the Play / App store rather than in the iSMART app for the update)

Edit: version is now 1.1.9.
It allows text entry for your nickname now (rather than just a numeric keypad)
SMS code for adding phone number still doesn't work (although I suspect that's a server issue rather than an app issue)
No other obvious changes - at least with respect to my SE SR - don't know if Trophy models will see anything else

Yep, updated mine now. Its gone to 1.1.9.

The update is the addition of an ejector seat to resolve the locking in problem!

Wonder if there is a fix to the plugged in not charging preheat, need to wait until next charge to be able to test.
EDIT: probably not thinking about it as more likely a module in the car that needs an update to fix this.

To update, I see the update option in the app still doesn't work. You have to download the latest version from Play Store (Android)

I'll give it a go next time I charge. (Did a full charge and balance overnight last night).

With android version 1.1.9 the shared Digital Key functionality is broken. There is no Digital Key section in the recipient's app under My Profile.

Downgraded to version 1.1.8 to make it work again.

Your app is bound to your car. It is the recipient that has no Digital Key section.

D'oh. Still can't record my mobile phone number in the app as it tells you to enter a verification code - which it never sends

EDIT: No, hold on I think my mobile number is already registered. I just noticed a tiny notice at the bottom of the screen saying as much. It's just that the mobile number doesn't get displayed for some reason.

I think the problem is simply that, certainly in my case, at some point or other it has registered the mobile number and further attempts to do so are ignored. Because the mobile number isn't displayed on the form like the other details it gives the impression the mobile number isn't registered.
What I have discovered is that it seems critical to enter the actual mobile number with no leading zero:
If I go into the app now and attempt to enter my mobile number with a leading zero, I get the "Sending" message, but nothing happens.
If, however, I enter the mobile number with no leading zero, then I get the message "The mobile number is registered".
Go figure
