MG4 Spotted! : Was it you?

Sorry....that I've missed you out and about, but as of today (almost 3 months in (4000 miles)), I've not spotted another MG4 on the road! - I've had a few people come up to myself to ask about the car (mainly when I was in Wales on holiday - very friendly bunch!).

Is it a case that the 1st 800 arrived in Sept, and the next batch are awating distribution?
Saw 2x Red MG4s in Abingdon this morning!

A few people on my dog walking routes around Didcot have got them as well, 3x red, 1x white, 1 x black (a red and a black on the same driveway!)

That'll be Border council rules vs Midlothian...

I think it's more that the single charger here is a rapid, while the ones in Penicuik are type 2. I think there is a limit of a few hours during the day, presumably for shoppers, and then you can leave a car on them all night. Never seen many cars on them though.

No I mean different councils set different rules on tariffs, how long you can charge, minimum charge fee etc... it's way more complicated than it should be and I have plenty of opinions I shouldn't share so I'll leave it at that...

As for Penicuik's chargers, I see cars on them all the time... mostly ICEs though :/

Yes, I've seen a few of these! Yes, I know the rules are different between councils, but they would have to be different in any case between two such different chargers.

This afternoon (10th April) about ten past four. Tango Trophy driving south on the A702, about Nine Mile Burn. I gave a quick flash of the headlights but it was chucking it down with rain and this may not have been noticed. I was in a line of cars driving north.

Saturday, about 1pm, green X-power on the road between Uttoxeter and Trentham Gardens. And Friday afternoon, tango Trophy on the B582 heading towards Desford around 4.45. There's now at least 3 MG4s that I know of in my neighbourhood - all smurfs (including ours).

2 MG4's on the East Lancs Rd about,
2.45 pm going towards Liverpool. One was a Green X Power, the other was an
Orange Trophy with Black badge and Fangs. Both very nice! 🙂👍

Yesterday, 3 spotted in one day:
Black MG4 in Dursley top of high street
Blue MG4 heading North on A38 around Alveston
Red MG4 at crossroads in Frampton Cotterell

Two seen today (17th April).

On the A721 about the place where the A70 to Ayr branches off, about ten past two in the afternoon. Black MG4 which I think was an SE but I'm not certain, heading east. I was in the blue SE heading west. I think the driver waved to me but he may not have seen my wave back, because he saw me before I saw him.

On Edmiston Drive, Glasgow, I think at the roundabout right outside Ibrox stadium, about five o'clock. Tango, presumably a Trophy, heading east. I was in the blue SE heading west. Not sure if the driver saw me or not.

White SE seen early afternoon on 19th April waiting to turn right on to the A702 from a small road coming down from the Pentlands, I think the Rullion Green one. I nearly waved, then realised I was in a courtesy MG3, and that would have looked silly.

Bit of a cheat as the local health authority run a fleet of MG4 for the District Nurse and Health Visitor teams, but whilst at the local hospital in Haddington saw 2 x blue, 3 x grey and 1 x white

Grey MG4 Trophy with sign writing (I couldn't make out what it was) this morning in the Common Green, Strathaven. (You were reversing out of a parking spot). Anyone here?

As per usual, I see most other MG4s whilst I'm walking the dogs. 😂

I was behind a 24 plate, red SE just after 4:30am this morning going along Apse Heath until they turned right onto Winford Road. ( Isle of Wight )

It wasn’t an IOW plate

Behind a tango yesterday (Sun 21st Apr) on the queue into Wantage due to the A34 closure. Went through Charlton village to avoid the traffic and saw a fellow grey (didn't get a wave back).

Today (22nd Apr) saw a black on Wantage Road Didcot (no wave back) and a red in the Orchard Centre car park outside Sainsbury's.

If MG4s keep proliferating I'll have to stop this!

Also - there is a car share scheme in Oxfordshire (Co Wheels) that uses White MG4s with colourful logos on the side so people around Oxfordshire might see those out and about.
