Here are pictures of the frit problems on the front screen edges. It rained this morning but the bubbles in the screen frit area are easily distinguishable.

Wow that is really interesting and I had no idea about why the pattern existed and I have learned something new. Thank you.
My fault(s) is on the outer edge of the front windscreens and maybe the wrong glue for Australian conditions (light is very harsh in Queensland) could be a reason for...
Thanks for the reply. The MGs are made by SAIC. SAIC supplies many parts for VWs that come from China I believe. My sunroof, steering wheel and steering column are all found on VWs for example. So hopefully MG will consider this issue of `bubbling' as a potential delamination fault under...
Hi,
I have owned a mk 1 MGZS EV since new (2020). It's done 60,000 kms and I have been very happy with it.
But over the last 12 months I have noticed the edge of my front windscreen showing numerous small bubbles along the edges of the windscreen. It is as if there is some kind of...
Hi, I had mine changed under warranty. Partly peace of mind and partly thinking of a new buyer or trade in to come when the price is negotiated downwards because of it.
The new arrangement appears to have solved my problem which got worse and worse after approximately 7,500 kms.

Just for information I had my steering column replaced straight away by the MG dealers here in Queensland and the problem was resolved. I was satisfied with the process and speed of repair but wondered how many other MG models suffered this issue and whether or not it was restricted to just the...
My car was checked this morning for the clicks by a local dealer in Queensland. They advised that it was faulty and helpfully ordered special replacement parts straight away. The parts were described as: Shaft ASM Inter Strg and Bolt/Screw Inter Strg SHF. I have the parts reference numbers too...
My MG EV is going in for a repair for this issue. Only car I have ever driven that suffers clicks on using the steering wheel. Problem is getting worse and I will be interested to see what returnIng it achieve.
Thanks for the feedback and the CAN bus had over 29 error messages on it in Mackay which in itself should not be a problem but did indicate a recurring problem. One remote possibility was the partial obscuring of the bottom radar plate by the badly positioned number plate. It seemed logical on...
I'd like to add to this. We live in Australia. Before various border closures I drove the MG from Currumbin Valley down to just north of Sydney on the Pacific Highway and back on the New England Highway. A long journey over 2,000kms - the car was a delight to drive and re-charging on the highway...
Hi,
I would very much like to be able to make use of the MG i smart app for our car in Australia.
But Apple prevents me downloading it here from the app store. Two questions: can it be downloaded and installed on my iPhone another way and secondly, does anyone know of MG's plans to bring it...
Hi Mark,
Many thanks for the information. Can you say what app and connector you use to be able to read the data like this? Many thanks. Doug (Australia).
Hi, hope someone can advise me on this.
I decided to run my relatively new MG ZS down to 17kms and then set it up for a slow charge.
I had in mind to try and load balance the batteries as suggested by MG and discussed on this forum. My concern is that it seems to take forever. I put it on...
I read the posting about sales in Australia. We bought an MG ZS EV as our first commitment to using electric cars. Our purchase was made in March 2021 and we live in South East Queensland on the NSW border (Currumbin Valley). The car is performing very well and although I am still not clear on...
