    unbinding of MG app

And I've not heard of this before either - you'll have to try the dealer (gulp!). But the latest App Faff for me came after not using the car for 8 days and the message 'digital key not active'. I sat in the car, played with the app and entered the 4 digit security number that was set up on day...

Auto tyre pressure reading MG ZS: does it sometimes go wonky?

I reckon that might do the trick, Eclectic. I assume the threaded male end will mate with the male threaded inside on the electric pump - and I notice in reviews that NOT having to unscrew means the escape of air from the pumped up tyre is nil. It's been great having such help with my...

Auto tyre pressure reading MG ZS: does it sometimes go wonky?

Hi Omega22, I also keep pliers etc. But Lovemyev - extended dust caps?!!! Seriously? Anyway I've ordered from your amazon link. Now one final FINAL question: my pump - runs off the 12V socket, has given me years of good service - has a slow and painfiul screw on fitting Is there a push-and-pump...

Auto tyre pressure reading MG ZS: does it sometimes go wonky?

Thanks to you both. I have bought the AstroAI Digital Tyre Pressure Gauge because of the lance-like tube that will make it easier for me to engage the valve than the Hacquno - the damnably difficult valves. In fact, the space around the valves - and all 4 wheels are the same - is so small I am...

Auto tyre pressure reading MG ZS: does it sometimes go wonky?

Thanks, er, Love(myev); which gauge do you use and where did you get it? I've got a Halfords near me otherwise it's t'Interweb.

Auto tyre pressure reading MG ZS: does it sometimes go wonky?

My 22 plate ZS EV is showing a tyre with lower pressure than there should be (error icon / flashing yellow on affected wheel), yet when I pumped it up it not only still shows the error but is 0.1 bar lower than before. Anyone else experienced this?

    unbinding of MG app

Inspired by Gadget Geek and with no app working for several weeks, I reopened and found I was on version 2.0.2. - logged in and bingo all is restored with a new look; all sub-apps working except EV station which directs me 5800 miles to a place called Muang Hak1. It is 203km from Bangkok, Thailand.

    MG4 granny charger

Sorry but I don't know how to start a new thread SO - here is my QUESTION can I use an MG granny charger 3pin to Type to on my Renault Zoë without blowing either of them up? Are they generic products?

    MG iSmart problems (merged)

The app is flakey - can work perfectly for ages then boom! Who are you and I don't know you? It's a weakness in an otherwise excellent price-value-performance package.

    Bind issue

Dear Bradford Chap - this is excellent news, because it means dealer is bypassed taking far less time when the app/phone issue crops up. Thanks.

    Bind issue

Only MG can do it - get the old no turned off I mean - it has happened to me 3 times and with my own number (app fails, try to reinstall > message 'car already bound') MG's basically a sales and design co in Britian - one hears they are going to beef up customer service - it couldn't be less...

    Lane Keep Assist love.....

Yes you ar probably alone . . . however the adaptive cruise control has de-risked my motorway driving at a stroke. Tremendous safetey aid. But the lane assist kept on jogging the wheel - most disconcerting. I've a 22 plate LR ZS.

    MG iSmart App down?

Alekssir I've had this issue on and off since I got my 22 plate ZS last year; a mysterious unannounced cessation of the app followed by a requirement to 'bind car first' which results in 'car already bound' and the app unable to work. The dealer sorted it a while back with help from MG HQ who...

Temporary spare wheel/tyre for ZS EV

Thanks Lovemyev (I love mine too, though I am not sure if he/she/it/they fully appreciate it). Inspired by you I went online and found a company called The Wheel Shop - all the MG EV models are there and they offer full-size and thin emerg tyres - all with jacks. For my ZS abt £140. Thanks again.

Temporary spare wheel/tyre for ZS EV

Any of you chaps know where I can get one and not break the bank? Last week I had a blowout that destroyed the tyre; the compressor/liquid goo was useless and I think for me one of thos thin-looking tyres will suit me better. Any ideas?

Anyone else got screen problems on the LR ZS ev?

I had a 2020 ZSEV and the screen conked out and had to be replaced under warranty; my 2022 model had issues e.g. parts of the display disappeared, the wing mirrors said 'car overtaking' when there was none and so on, all put right with a s/w update on the annual service. The dealer (Caffyns...

Where is the UNBIND icon in the iSmart app?

Hi MG EV owners. The problem was solved (iSmart refused to unbind the car so I could then rebind it). Caffyns (Ashford Kent) tech dept forcibly (their word) separated my phone no from the car (how? Lord knows) and invited me (trembling fingers) to reconnect the iSmart app as if the car were new...
