I had exactly this issue. Drove from Stafford to Cornwall… stoped at the Buckfastleigh Osprey Hub and tried two different chargers. No joy so called the help desk and they got me to try two more chargers. The car would not communicate with the chargers. Eventually drove a few miles down the road...
As mentioned.... most people only post issue/problems. You see this on any car forums. I transitioned from a Leaf 24 to a ZSEV Gen1 and now a ZSEV Gen2 LR. I've had very few issue - the only one with the current ZS is Amazon Music which for some reason even though I can play tunes at home with...
I'm trading in my ZSEV Exclusive for a ZSEV Trophy LR. Will the mats and boot-liner from the Exclusive fit the Trophy.... they are the official MG supplied ones that are superb quality. Wondering if to keep them for my new car.
When the original ZSev came on the market an app was available but not in the UK (possibly even Europe) due to data going to China. The latest MGs have the iSmart app. Can this be used with the older MGs? or is there any other apps available for the original ZSev?
Unlike a phone or other battery goods... an EV will not knowingly reach 0% while driving. The system will reduce power and the vehicle will slow down so much you will be forced to stop. The vehicle will not be able to continue and you will need the 'flatbed of shame' to take you to a charger...
I removed mine when I went through a car wash... it was months before I realised I had not replaced it and had been happily listening to a variety of DAB stations... Don't use FM at all.
I have the same issue which annoyingly is also intermittent. It can affect one (either the passenger or the driver) or both mirrors. This happens either by remote lock or pressing the button on the door handle. The mirrors will always fold in if the button on the dash is pressed down. Dealer...
Hi... first off what a great source of info.
The family are off to Devon and Cornwall for a week and looking a ZapMaps and PlugShare many chargers are GeniePoint. I have seen for posts within the site that there can be issues with these chargers. Is this still the case? If the issue is based...
It depends which charging companies.... Ecotricity are the ones at most motorway services and they are around 30p but if you have your home supply with them it drops to 15p. The issue I find is that their chargers are getting old and unreliable. Their customer service do try and help whenever...
Hi I've got a Zs... my previous car was a Nissan Leaf. I had a 7kW charger installed when I had the Leaf even though it was only capable of charging at 3. I thought Future proof... Not quite. The leaf had a type 1 connection the Zs has a type 2. The charger I had was one with a tethered cable. I...
I've noticed that the two USB ports in the lower compartment of the central console have different icons... the one on the right has the universal USB icon while the one on the left has what looks like a monitor screen icon. Can't find a reference in the manual... what are they for?
Not sure why no-one has responded to this. This is normal. The only way I can explains is as the battery gets fuller it harder to push in more electricity... It's like blowing up a tyre at first its easy but as more and more air gets pushed in it gets harder to push more in. From 80 to 100% it...
PlugInsure.co.uk have been the cheapest for me £270 for a Leaf 24. Just transferred insurance to new MG which cost me just a £25 change fee. I will see in Jan if there is any major change as that's when my current policy ends
I'm also picking up my Pimlico Blue on Thursday. I did go to Bridley Wolves as they are my closest dealer but they didn't have any pre-registered Exclusives in stock. Ended going to Stoke. Can't wait.
