Many apps require Internet access. Apps are generally downloaded from app stores, which are a type of digital distribution platforms.
The term "app", short for "application", has since become very popular; in 2010, it was listed as "Word of the Year" by the American Dialect Society.Apps are broadly classified into three types: native apps, hybrid and web apps. Native applications are designed specifically for a mobile operating system, typically iOS or Android. Web apps are written in HTML5 or CSS and typically run through a browser. Hybrid apps are built using web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5 and function like web apps disguised in a native container.

    App Binding

    I cannot bind the app to my car. I know they are both on the same account as the car has picked up the picture I used on the app, but the app will not display any car data. I picked up the car today, an ex-dem model from my local dealer. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. TD

    Is it me, or does the App timeout more than it connects?

    Do MG have enough servers and connectivity to service the increasing number of users. Are all the servers in China, or do they have some in Europe? It's very frustrating.

    MG app resetting password spam

    Unlikely to be a coincidence but reset my MG app password yesterday then became bombarded with spam messages at the same email address. Rarely get any spam at that address. Just a warning in case it's connected to the reset.

    Have been told by my MG dealer that the MG Ismart app will not be available in NZ. Its not necessary I realise but it would be a nice to have considering they bang on about it in other countries. Is there anyone that knows if the app will be available in NZ... Or Australia?
