The MG ZS EV is a subcompact crossover electric SUV produced by the Chinese manufacturer SAIC Motor under the MG marque.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MG_ZS_(crossover)#MG_EZS/ZS_EV
An all electric version made its debut as EZS at the 2018 Guangzhou Auto Show, featuring a 44.5 kWh battery, and a front positioned motor producing 143 PS (141 hp; 105 kW) or 150 PS (148 hp; 110 kW) and 350 N⋅m (35.7 kg⋅m; 258 lb⋅ft) to the front wheels. It is available in the United Kingdom, parts of Europe, Thailand, China, and India.

It was revealed in Australia in November 2020 as the cheapest electric car in the market of all time. MG Australia predicted a sales target of 3,000 unit for the 2021 model year.

Except for China, the electric SUV is officially named as ZS EV, while the official name in China is EZS.

    The RFID Question

I’m a new owner and soon to have my first long journey. The charging business on route is a concern. The only rapid charge I’ve done - as a test run- was using the CCS plug at a BP Pulse point at a hotel. I selected “guest” and it went absolutely smoothly. But the number of different suppliers...

My ZSEV sometimes refuses to allow the charging lead to be removed

My ZS EV, (Dec 2020 7K miles) is becoming awkward when I'm trying to disconnect the charging cable following a charge and balance from my ROLEC 7kw wall charger. The MG badge lights are off, and when I unlock the car on the door button and/or the key fob, the dashboard identifies that the car is...

No, I'm not planning an around the world jaunt. But I did get caught in the wee shower that managed to shut half of Paisley last night. Heavy duty mobility scooter in MG ZS EV

Does anyone on this forum carry a mobility scooter in their ZS EV? I am particularly interested in one that can carry a user of about 24 stones. I realise that that figure does greatly reduce the choice. Has anyone managed to use a Twingo Flyte scooter with it's self loading ramps? Thanks. Dave

MG withdrawing service plans from 1/11/2021 (ie next week)

The MG Owners club have posted on their FB group that MG have "parted company" with their service plan company E-dynamix and that no new service plans will be issued from next week (1/11/2021). This won't (apparently) effect existing service plans as they will still be honoured. Other that this...

British Summer Time ends a week early

Hopped into car today at 12.30pm and time on screen showed 11.30 !!! Had to double check with my watch, phone and the wife's watch and, yes, it's still definitely 1230 not 1130. I can only think the car thinks the clocks have already gone back a week before they are due to. Anyone else had this ?
