MG ZS EV subcompact crossover electric SUV
The MG ZS EV is a subcompact crossover electric SUV produced by the Chinese manufacturer SAIC Motor under the MG marque.

An all electric version made its debut as EZS at the 2018 Guangzhou Auto Show, featuring a 44.5 kWh battery, and a front positioned motor producing 143 PS (141 hp; 105 kW) or 150 PS (148 hp; 110 kW) and 350 N⋅m (35.7 kg⋅m; 258 lb⋅ft) to the front wheels. It is available in the United Kingdom, parts of Europe, Thailand, China, and India.

It was revealed in Australia in November 2020 as the cheapest electric car in the market of all time. MG Australia predicted a sales target of 3,000 unit for the 2021 model year.

Except for China, the electric SUV is officially named as ZS EV, while the official name in China is EZS.

    System Fault

    After charging my car, it wouldn't turn off and I couldn't get it into gear. It showed the message Vehicle Control System Fault After 30 minutes, it seemed to re-set itself. Any advice as to why this would happen?

    Hi, Had to drive home in the dark countryside last night in thick fog. My headlamps automatically turn main beam on and off when it senses oncoming cars or streetlights.     Seat covers

    I have a ZS EV 2023 and now it’s summer in Oz I’m finding the seats are sticking to the skin a bit. I’m after some seat covers but want ones that will still allow me to feel the heated seats in winter. Any suggestion on what to buy or avoid?

    Possibly returning ZS EV owner :)

    Hi I bought a new ZS EV back in April 2022, owned it for 4 months and then some guy decided to total it by reversing into it at full throttle (Mustang V8 5.0 so quite quickly got to 35mph, which smashed the front in and pushed the car into another car behind it, smashing up the rear as well)...
