I have a hive charge and it's been totally reliable .
However last night it only charged to 99%.
The car is showing 99% with 235miles of range .I have only got an sr so I know that that's highly unlikely to be acheivable. I've had this happen before where my overnight tariff has ended and the charger stop automatically but on this occasion
I've tried to restart the charger to get to 100%
but it's not having it .
I'm not that concerned as it's only happened this once but will keep an eye on it over the next week or so .
Has anyone any ideas as to why this might have happened

Best guess it stopped at 100% and then there drained 0.0001%, so now you are as low as 99.9999%
Alternatively it stopped charging at 99.9999% and there is a limit to how little it will bother to start the whole process for.

I had something similar a few weeks back, the post is around somewhere? Mine would charge to within 3% of the set limit then stop and not do the balancing portion. On pressing "charge now" it would complete the charge. I tried a different (granny) charger and that worked fine. On inspection of the original charger ,I found an ant had made its way into the communication port on the plug . poking it out and a quick WD40 spray and its now back to normal.
I am guessing when the car asked the EVSE to ramp down the ant somehow had disrupted the signal and everything shut down prematurely. On pressing charge now, this might have been a stronger signal that overcame the ants resistance. 🤷‍♂️

You could well be right .
I guess it's more likely than big Al's ant issues! Lol
