Do the indicators flash when using OPD

Hi,

I switched on OPD (One Pedal Driving) the other day to try it out. Whilst I was slowing down I could see in the reflection off the car in front that my front indicators were flashing.

Does it do this in OPD mode and why, is it to warn someone in front? Do the rear indicators flash also?
