Gas paddle late response

I raised this issue a few months back regarding the delay in the accelerator pedal. It is deffo slower than a Nissan leaf at reaction times. I also recall car reviews on YouTube saying the same.

I guess it's only noticeable to those of us with lightning fast reactions

I’ve learnt in Eco the responsiveness sucks. If I know I need to get out of somewhere fast I just flick it down to sports

On the MG ZS if you have the auto hold selected so the car automatically holds when brought to a stop, then there's short delay when you press the accelerater to pull off, probably to alow the hand break to release. Don't like the delay so don't use it. Don't know if the 5 has this option but a thought.

We are fully aware of the auto hand brake and it's not applied and I know how to turn it on and off. Again this is my 4th ev and it has a delay in eco mode - just accept it
