Greetings from Colombia – MG4 Cross+ introduction

Hello everyone,
Greetings from Colombia, Southamerica. I’m introducing myself here in the MG4 2026 section, since the version currently sold in Colombia is being referred to as the 2026, even 2027 model locally, although the newer European 2026 update has not yet arrived in our market.
I recently purchased an MG4 Cross+, with the 49 kWh battery. My car comes with 235/45 R18 wheels, full ADAS, and a 360° camera. From what I understand, the closest equivalent in other markets would be something like a Trophy / Essence Standard Range, although the equipment mix is somewhat unique.
Since the MG4 has been on the road much longer in places like the UK and Australia, I’m hoping to learn from the experience of members here regarding ownership, charging, efficiency, and updates.
Looking forward to learning from the community and sharing my experience with the MG4 in Colombia as well.

Being a new owner and new to the MG brand, I can say, I'm sure you will love it

We've had our basic MG4 just over 2 years.

Since the MG4 has been on the road much longer in places like the UK and Australia, I’m hoping to learn from the experience of members here regarding ownership,

Ownership is excellent, we just love it.

charging,

we have lots of solar so ours runs on sunshine, we had a 7kW EVSE installed that can be tied to the amount of excess solar.

efficiency,

around the suburbs we're getting a bit more than 12kWh/100km on the motorway around 15kWh/100km,

and updates.

Non existent so far.
