Large power banks

Has anyone used large power banks to give themselves an ev boost?

I was thinking of buying one for other reasons, but perhaps charging up on my overnight cheap tariff, and while I am parked up for a few hours away from home plugging the granny charger in and giving it a boost.

Is this possible or even practical?

Possible for sure. But probably not very cost effective compared to just charging the car directly. And slow to charge the car.

Take a look at Bjorn's tests where he runs cars to empty and uses one to get going again.

I guess I was thinking for example to plug it in while parked at Alton Towers for example.
