Hi everyone, first time charging my trophy and noticed that the headlights and rear lights have come on and stay on whilst charging. Should this be the case or have I not done something as the scan shows everything normal.
This is useful to know. My neighbour’s livingroom window lies directly across from my driveway and I wouldn’t want to dazzle them when watching the telly.Did you inadvertently unlock the car after starting the charging? (My lights stay off when charging and the car is locked).
Or have you set cabin preheat going? (That always turns the lights on. Not sure if battery preheat also does this).
No - Your headlights and tail lights should NOT be on when you are charging surely ?.Hi everyone, first time charging my trophy and noticed that the headlights and rear lights have come on and stay on whilst charging. Oh for the days when cars were simpler! Glad you fixed it.?just been and checked and I have left the lights on manually. I remember I set it to manual lights rather than automatic on my drive home from work. Thanks for the replies all.
Every day is a school day ( as they say ) no worries, mark it up and move on !.?just been and checked and I have left the lights on manually. I remember I set it to manual lights rather than automatic on my drive home from work. Thanks for the replies all.
You left it unlocked? I presume locking the car powers it down? It’s ok, just realised it was all still powered on, doh!! The estimated time to 100% has suddenly halved. Panic over!
Yes, and also locks the charge plug into the car.You left it unlocked? I presume locking the car powers it down?
Yes correct. I had it in my garage so never even thought about locking it when I plugged it in.You left it unlocked? I presume locking the car powers it down?
I thought the same thing. Even when it was empty, my garage door is so narrow that I had to fold my wing mirrors when reversing in. I only did it a couple of times and then got fed up with the hassle. That’s why the Zappi is installed outside the garage door. You can get your car in your garage? ?
Yes, although only just. Previous cars I’ve folded the auto mirrors in to get through the door. This one with the mirrors out is extremely tight! You can get your car in your garage? ?
