Mg 4 power steering failure

Has this happened to anyone on here??? Today as I drove home the lane keep warning came up as not working with also a power steering fault as well. I managed to get home but the steering was awful, could hardly turn it. I called out MG assist AA. The patrol man told me these cars are so new we can't do a lot with them. My car is a Trophy which is 11 months old. He told me to disconnect the 12v battery if it happens again. Luckily after it was parked for an hour or so, when it was turned on again all was back to normal. The app didn't show a previous fault message at all either.

Happened to me for a few seconds before Xmas. Luckily I was on a straight road and it resolved itself before it became an issue. Have late ‘22 Trophy.
