MG HS Hybrid battery drain

Good morning.
Yesterday, they finally delivered the car. A technician came and installed new software. The screen now turns off when I lock the car. We'll see how the car performs over the weeks.

I'll keep you posted...

I am a bit confused, my dealer said that there is still no software update for this issue.
Even if I am in France, I don't think my car is different than a spanish one.

What was the version they installed on yours?

Mine is the SWI136-29958-1100R58.

This is the thisrs time my battery dies in 9 days. I've jumper-started it now and noticed that the dashboard backlight is in fact always on.

After jumper-staring it now my dashboard show errors for asll driver assistances though.

This is my locked car last night after the last jump start. This morning the battery was dead again. Did another jump start and went straight to the MG dealership in Seville.

They seem to know about this issue and that a "reprograming" will be necessary. We scheduled it for monday at 7am. Let's see...

I'm still at the MG dealership and they could not solve it with any software update. They requested a new dashboard and will replace it.

Same here. HS PHEV TROPHY. Picked up 22/6/2025. Back at dealer due to three flat batteries. Something is draining the battery when it's stood with ignition off. A faulty component no doubt.

Same problem here. The cause of flat batteries on 2026 MG HS PHEV is the fact that after switching the car off the screen directly in front of you has a backlight and this stays on draining the battery. You can only see its on in the dark. Mine is going to MG tomorrow for a fix.
