Could it be made in 2 pieces and held together with a couple of small nuts and bolts.Never seen a 3D printer in action I would like to see one working.Around 1kg of plastic for a 3d printer is around £20, but most commonly avaliable 3d printers are quite limited in the size of objects they can print - Anything larger than 300mm in any dimension it considered tricky, but not impossible
Yes its easy peasy! 4 ball head studs fix in existing holes, and it takes about 5 minutes from box to fitted in the car!!I ordered a frunk.at one today. Hoping it’s an easy install

how much was it?Yes its easy peasy! 4 ball head studs fix in existing holes, and it takes about 5 minutes from box to fitted in the car!!
I have one and its great, I ordered the extra net too.
One downside as far as I was concerned, and it can't be avoided, is that there are customs duties to be paid before its released from UK customs. (Damd Brexit!)
Yeah I did see your comment about it. 37 I think you said. I did look at getting it delivered to my mum in France (no dam brexit there) but saving was not worth the wait lolYes its easy peasy! 4 ball head studs fix in existing holes, and it takes about 5 minutes from box to fitted in the car!!

where did you get it from? I found an Australian site sell it for like £185 including shipping and struts but I fear the shipping for that would be very high.Just got a ready for shipping notice so that is good turnaround time so far.

I have seen a lot of people praising the struts especially if you're going in and out of the frunk. I worry about warranty atm so prob won't look into getting one yet.German site frunk.at
Mentioned way back in this thread.
£155 plus duty which I think is about 37 but will have to wait and see.
PS no struts but I was bother about those.
Yeah I think if you will access it regularly it makes sense. I am planning on putting things there I do not use often. EG 12v jump starter, granny cable, tyre pump etc…I have seen a lot of people praising the struts especially if you're going in and out of the frunk. I am more worried about the struts as I would use the frunk regularly so would want them if I was going to use it.PS warranty wise I will just remove it whenever it’s goes to the garage. Hopefully only for a yearly service
