In the latest software, that action toggles between ACC and TJA.Press and hold of the ACC engage button would be suitable. In the driver's display the LKA active/inactive icon is immediately above the ACC icon.
Bummer. But an understandable option. In the latest software, that action toggles between ACC and TJA.
Yes. I know. Incidentally in the latest update you can turn TJA off and on with a long press of the acc button.Do check that you have car on ACC and not TJA, it seems to make a big difference
Or did you switch modes? Sensitivity? There is a big difference for me between LDA and ELK.Yes. I know. Incidentally in the latest update you can turn TJA off and on with a long press of the acc button.
The most annoying thing is that almost all of the time it doesn't work when you do cross a lane marking, dashed or solid, except on dual carriageways where lines are clear, and when it does you don't get the sudden wrench, more a light nudge. I think it just can't handle narrow UK roads and indistinct markings.Or did you switch modes? Sensitivity? There is a big difference for me between LDA and ELK.
And just out of curiosity: does it do it as well when crossing dashed (non solid) lane markings?
Those narrow roads, are the markers solid or not?The most annoying thing is that almost all of the time it doesn't work when you do cross a lane marking, dashed or solid, except on dual carriageways where lines are clear, and when it does you don't get the sudden wrench, more a light nudge. Ditto...I live in the Lake District. From home to work most of the roads are narrower than the width of the car....so my right-hand side is constantly needing to go over the middle line. This means I'm constantly fighting with Lane Assist.
If I didn't have a tight grip of the wheel, after 2 weeks of ownership, best case scenario Id have very badly damaged hub caps, and worst case I would have been in an accident.
Just turn it off or get the update.Ditto...
Just stick with alert mode and disable rhe sound. What is left is a mild shakevin the steering wheel.Ditto...
SC077 is out now to fix this.Ditto...

SC is short for "Service Campaign" - This means that service techs are to install it when they next see the car.
Since having it installed, I haven't touched the "LKA off" button at all.
SC077 didn't launch until mid-January, so they didn't.Never touched it from, day one. I did ask them to install all relevant updates. For when I picked it up (Sept 24). So I'm presuming they did.![]()
Agree, but how do you definitively know they have done it, if they are uncommunicative , and don't give you any paperwork , and its impossible to access the information on your own car from the MG service data. My particular service centre and dealer will not show you the computer screen or give a print out of work done, whilst MG EU say for that information contact your dealer?SC077 is out now to fix this.

I also have a service booklet which they will not stamp, date, sign, or put on the mileage.![]()
IIRC, the "service book" is embedded in the infotainment, alongside the owner's manual.Disappointed about that. I bought a service booklet, for that very reason.
Hoping they would stamp it. Don't really see the problem. I'll still ask my dealer. Might just be yours. And I know it's all "online" supposedly. I just like physical proof aswell. Same with Car/House insurance etc.![]()

It is ... but it doesn't get updated at each service, it's merely a blank service book.IIRC, the "service book" is embedded in the infotainment, alongside the owner's manual.
