It's not. I found it easily.

Oh, there! Sorry, I thought you meant on the tab used to enter our details.View attachment 16134Where did you find it??
Managed to speak to them now and the person i spoke to briefly said it was a EH (?) 32 update. As you said i guess this is for the lock in issue, which touch-wood i've never had. That'll probably be for the "locked-in" update. I don't believe there is any other recall issued.
Ah, well I'm booked in for next week. So I guess I'll find out when I get my paperwork from themOn my paperwork the locked in recall is designated AS-22-RC008, and involves reprogramming the BCM.
If you get any paperwork..Ah, well I'm booked in for next week. So I guess I'll find out when I get my paperwork from them
So what is that EH32 CCU update then? Is that the Lane Assist update? If you get any paperwork..
All I had was a text to confirm what they were doing - Posted before re MG Campaign RC008 (locking) and MG Campaign SC47 EH32 CCU Software Update
I need to do a deeper dive on the Lane Departure 'update' that its had - I want to see if I have that screen option to adjust it as shown here - One thing I have noted tho (since update)
Driving - Turned lane assist off - Had to stop due to traffic issues (didnt apply park) - Went to pull away - Guess what - Lane assist came back on - EVEN tho I had 'deselected' it earlier / Monitoring that
Well spotted. Updated now. Typo on a formula.Added mine, but blue seems to be missing from the colours chart!

I guess that's a @meicd problem. It looks like they set the chart to stop counting after the 16th of what is now 38 entries.
I suggest altering "data range" from E5:E16 to E5:E100, to allow for future expansion, giving us this (I made a copy of the spreadsheet to enable editing).

To the dealer. No OTASure this has probably been asked somewhere, though can't find it exactly. Is it possible for us to do software updates OTA or does it need to go to the dealer for updates?
Many thanks Les for your informative reply.
It is the SE SR version that I'm picking up later today.
I have to say that many issues with the MG4 that I have read about do appear to be mainly centred around the first batches of the model delivered but after saying that, I firmly believe that the 'gremlins' can strike at any time and that's why I have reached out to you guys who have the knowledge and experience of dealing with them when they do raise their heads above the proverbial parapet.
Your info is well received and finger x'd, everything goes well. If I do encounter issues along the road then this is the forum where I will asking for advice without any doubt.
Cheers,
Mike
Thank you for your reply.
I will as requested, take a screenshot of the entertainment software version and post it on here so that you can help to identify whether it is the current/latest update.
Cheers
Mike
Cheers for the heads-up.

Not at the moment, but the infotainment has the "update" button which makes http calls to the saic server. I sniffed the traffic by connecting the car to my wifi and analyze the packets (I work as IT engineer). No such useful informations apart from IP address of the server.Sure this has probably been asked somewhere, though can't find it exactly. Its the main car update - Which includes Lane Assist etcSo what is that EH32 CCU update then? Is that the Lane Assist update?
I'm wondering if I'm getting the locking update and that update maybe bundled together.
As I picked my car up in January and not had any software updates before, I wonder if my dealership has finally got around to doing all the updates under a "recall"
It is - mine is on R13 at the moment. Yours also has an updated MCU version - mine is 69.1.0.9 vs your 69.1.1.1; I wonder what the MCU update covers?I was told by a fellow MG4 SE SR owner that the update on my motor, R16, is the latest update for the SE SR
2 weeks ago I had my MG4 Trophy recalled for a software update. This should have been in for one day. Day 2 they contacted me saying there was a problem and they needed advice from MG as they had no idea. 2 weeks on its still not sorted. The latest software update caused errors /issues with the safety driving module, making the car unsafe to drive. They were advised to replace the front camera, which didn’t change anything. MG have been in contact with the dealership technician daily, but still no joy. Has anyone else had this same issue?I thought it could be useful to have a thread for software update news. I am collecting my car tomorrow and have a feeling that I will be back several times for software updates. Perhaps we can use this thread to keep each other informed when updates appear (I wouldn't rely on my dealer to be on the ball with this)
Not the exact same, no. I did have my car “bricked“ for 2 days after software update. I think MG are definitely still on a learning curve with the software, things are improving but it looks like there are still challenges and learnings ahead, your case being one of them. I hope it’s sorted soon for you.2 weeks ago I had my MG4 Trophy recalled for a software update. This should have been in for one day.
