MG4 Spotted! : Was it you?

White SE LR parked by the lagoon watersports on Portslade/Hove sea front about 4.15 today. Still there an hour later when I walked back. Maybe the owner was the guy doing mad things with the sort of water skateboard cum trolley-bus.

Then a tango Trophy parked at home with its Tesla stablemate. Then a grey Trophy parked behind the Victoria Court flats (not pictured). Then another tango Trophy stopped at the lights at the end of the A293. Quite a haul.

Two tangos and a (grey) goose.

Each on a different row with ours in the middle!

Tango encountered somewhere on Ilkley Moor just after four o'clock this afternoon. Happy waves were exchanged.

Saw a gorgeous blue as I was leaving Cribbs Causeway John Lewis Tesla chargers car park about 1530 today, bank hol Monday, 27 May. Then, coincidentally, a couple of hours later another one (don't think it was the same one) let me off the Arundel Arms Hotel car park in Lifton, having completed another Tesla charge.

Didn't see a single one on my drive home from Yorkshire until I passed the ChargePlace Scotland 50 kw charger in the car park at Moffat just before six. Another smurf on charge there, trim uncertain.

Then as I drove into Broughton from the south, about 6.20, there was another smurf SE driving southbound out of Broughton. In that case, friendly waves were exchanged.

Black SE this evening in Carluke, about 6.30, approaching the main town centre traffic lights from the south. I waved, but I didn't see any response.

Black seen on Abingdon Road, Didcot. Didn't note the model or anything - was on foot.

Definitely getting a more common sight.

My fav moment driving an MG4 so far was three MG4, white, orange and blue, in a row driving down the motorway side by side all waving at each other. I'm sure those people still think about that moment ?

Just got back from Burnham on Sea in Somerset along the A38 to Bristol, then A4174 Ring Rd and I was amazed to see 7 MG4. Two white, two grey, one black, blue and orange. Good to see so many along the way.

Hah. All the way from Sussex to Scotland, I saw one Tango as I was leaving Brighton, and two Smurfs after I'd left the M74 and was on the A701 near home. Nothing in between. (Except the exhibits at Everything Electric of course, including the X-Power I test drove.)

I imagine you were chaperoned and unable to fully discover the performance within?

I was not chaperoned, other than by the friends I'd brought with me who insisted on coming as passengers. However, the roads that were accessible in the 20 minutes allowed weren't conducive to giving the car a real work-out. Also, it was some time into the drive before I realised the damn thing was set on ECO!

Monday - a Tango going north on the M1 just south of Wakefield, about 1 o'clock. 15 minutes later, a Blue MG4 also heading north... on the back of a flatbed :-(

Smurf parked up by the main junction in the centre of Pangbourne, Berkshire.

Wife did see a Black destroyer (is that what we decided to call them?) on Farnborough Road Aldershot on Saturday late morning but I missed it.

Red Trophy spotted at Strathaven Leisure Centre just before 6pm on Wednesday evening ... I parked next to you.

BTW your front passenger window was about 1/3 open.

Yesterday on the M1 southbound about 1:15pm. Had a white SE to my right and a blue SE to my left in slow moving traffic, 3 lanes of MG4 running in parallel

I saw a grey Trophy on Sunday, waiting to turn right at the Loanhead turnoff from the A701 (beside the Nissan garage). Totally failed to clock that I should have been turning right there myself!
