The v4 is easy to spot. They're the ones without a hole through the middle

Didn't know you could charge at Tesla without the app!

That's how I tried out the charger at Gretna, the pad for 'wafting' is on the side of the charger.

This sounds like a good idea but the Tesla app I downloaded didn't have a button for non-tesla users, it would only allow me to select a Tesla model. The Charge Place Scotland tells you which ones are occupied...but not much use in England Is there another Tesla app

Only one Tesla app as far as I'm aware. The charge option for non Tesla's is not that easy to find. You have to use the little pancake menu icon on the top right then select "Charge Your Other EV." I don't know if you need to have a payment card registered before it'll appear - I already had it because I have a Tesla as well!

On my app it’s the first thing you see, you just press “find a charger”
